Rishi Athavale is a published and cited machine learning researcher. He focuses on applying ML algorithms to the fields of medicine and neuroscience. He has researched applications of ML algorithms to cancer prognosis at UT Dallas's STARLING Lab and has researched ML-based 3D snapshot microscopy at HHMI Janelia's Turaga Lab. Rishi currently attends the Academies of Loudoun in Northern Virginia.
